We’ve Been Relocated
Somehow This Time It’s Good News
The moccasin telegraph is alive and well, and all of the aunties have been notified, so we can finally say this out loud.
Big news from SiriusXM Progress: The John Fugelsang Show is heading to a new weekday time slot, airing Monday through Friday from 12–3 PM ET.
And because Simon and I are still welcome in that space, We’re Still Here with Simon and Julie is moving too.
Starting the week of July 13, 2026 (yes, next week), our segment will now air LIVE every Thursday from 2–3 PM ET on SiriusXM Progress Channel 127.
Yes, technically, we have been “relocated.” As Native people, we get to make at least one relocation joke, right?
But in this rare historical twist, this relocation is actually good news!
Moving from 10 PM to 2 PM means more of you may be awake, caffeinated, driving, working, avoiding work, pretending to answer emails, or sitting in your car in a parking lot having a full emotional episode over the state of things before going into the grocery store.
So yes, we’re confident we’ve found our audience.
We are so grateful to John Fugelsang for continuing to make space for We’re Still Here, and for believing that Indigenous voices belong in these rooms. Not as a special occasion, not as a heritage month feature, but every week.
This move also means We’re Still Here gets to be part of the new daytime lineup with John and his talented crew, which feels like a big and beautiful step.
John invited us on his show as a weekly segment because Native people are still here in the news, in the culture, in the politics, in the land, in the water, in the stories.
And thanks to him, now sometimes in the SiriusXM studio, causing just enough trouble to keep things interesting.
So: new time slot, same mission. Just earlier in the day.
Catch We’re Still Here with Simon and Julie live every Thursday from 2–3 PM ET on SiriusXM Progress Channel 127 as part of The John Fugelsang Show.
And for those who don’t listen live on SiriusXM, you can catch us as a free podcast at this link — or wherever you get your podcasts:

I always listen to the recording as a pod because I don't have Sirius, but I am THRILLED for ya'll to be getting more daytime exposure!!!
I love it! I am one of those long time listeners that have never been able to call in because 10 PM EST is way past my bed time these days.
